Chinese Ministry for Education Discuss Link with inspiresport

The Chinese Ministry for Education and inspiresport are in detailed discussions to develop a programme of football coaching and language courses each summer. The 14 day and 21 days programmes for between 200-500 young Chinese students will involve and mixture of cultural and educational activities combined with coaching at a number of the leading profesisonal football club in the UK and Europe.

inspiresport organises England U18 Team training in Spain

inspiresport for the fifth year in succession have been chosen to operate the ESFA England U18 pre-international training camp in Spain.
In addition to some warm weather training at top class facilities, inspiresport have organised friendly matches against the the Gibraltar team before taking on the official Malaga CF U18 team. Teachers experienced first-hand inspiresport programmes in four of Spain’s top-class professional football clubs during the Summer half-term break. inspiresport offered two Twin Inspection Visits – Villarreal CF and Valencia CF and Real Madrid and Deportivo La Coruna. Teachers in the Real Madrid/Deportivo group inspected the state-of-the-art facilities at the Spanish FA before meeting staff and visiting Real Madrid’s training grounds and awe-inspiring Bernabeu stadium. In the evening, the group were treated to an insider’s guide of the capital’s hidden gems by our own Madrileño, Luis Portero. The following day, our group flew to Galicia, a beautiful corner on the western coast of Spain where they experienced a piece of the Peninsula’s diverse regional culture and atmosphere. Teachers were particularly impressed with Deportivo La Coruña’s welcome when high profile staff members greeted them like family members! The group inspected the 14 pitches that comprise the club’s training grounds, set in a verdant countryside. They also had a chance to visit the Riazor stadium in the heart of La Coruña’s city before checking out two beach side hotels for their prospective school groups. Ben Murphy of Hampton School said ‘the visit really brought to life inspiresport’s programmes and helped me to plan our school’s trip.
