Celtic play at Celtic Park, or Parkhead as it is referred to. It is the second largest club stadiums in the UK and attracts an average attendance of 62,832.
Together with Rangers, the two clubs form the 'Old Firm' - one of the fiercest rivalries in sport.

Having won three league titles in a row and 42 in total, Celtic finished behind rivals Celtic in 2009. Having won a League and Cup double in 2007, Celtic only managed a League Cup in 2009, and lost their place in the Champions Laegue. They will be looking to regain pride and silverware this season, and make an impact in the Europa League. They are the only Scottish team to have won Europe's premier football competition, the European Cup, in 1967 and also hold the record for the most number of Scottish Cups.

Out and About: The river Clyde runs through the centre of Glasgow and splits the city in two. The banks of the river provide great views of the other side. The cathedral quarter of the city dates back to medieval times and the Merchant City district to the Victorian era.
