The Portugal Rugby Youth Festival gives your team an unforgettable experience both on and off the pitch. Rugby matches against international opponents, exciting leisure time activities and great entertainment - all in one of Europe's most exciting cities with its warm weather climate and white sandy beaches. The event will be held at the beautiful Jamor valley near Lisbon and will be played in the 6 grass pitches in the sporting complex including the famous national stadium where the portuguese Football Cup is played every year and where Celtic won the European Champions Cup in 1967 against Inter Milan.
Accommodation
All the tournament packages include accommodation (either holiday park or 3 & 4* hotel) for players and team officials near to the pitches and festival centre.
Itinerary: The tournament will be played according to regulations of the IRB Youth Rugby Rules and the Portuguese Rugby Federation and is open to schools and clubs which are members of a rugby association that is registered with the International Rugby Board. In the first day of competition, Saturday 4th April, each team will play 4-5 matches. The play-off groups and finals will be played on Sunday 5th April.

Teams coming from abroad will be expected to arrive in Lisbon on the 3rd April (friday) and depart from Lisbon on the 6th of April. For teams wishing to extend their stay in Lisbon we can easily quote to you extra nights, pre or post tournament friendly matches and sightseeing excursions.
