Inaugurated in 2002, the Ciudad Deportiva de Abegondo is the perfect place for young footballers to practice football. Situated close to the mountains this fabulous training complex has seven perfect 11-a-side grass pitches, nine 7-a-side grass pitches and one 3rd generation artificial 11-a-side pitch. You will also have the opportunity to practice your newly acquired skills against local opposition.

The fortunes of Deportivo La Coruna have changed considerably in the last twenty five years. In the 1980s the club had been moving between divisions in the Spanish League and was approaching financial disaster. In 1991, the team were finally promoted to the Primera Liga and despite some ups and downs, today Deportivo is considered a big club in Spain and on the European scene.

Opened in 2003, the Husa Center is located in the city’s industrial centre next to the main access roads. It is surrounded by commercial areas that provide good access to the city centre and a direct bus route with a bus stop just 300 metres from the hotel. It offers 84 well-appointed rooms with desks, free Wi-Fi access, air conditioning, heating, TV and a direct telephone line. There are conference rooms, a garage, a café and a restaurant.

La Coruña is a beautiful city lying at the extreme northwest corner of Spain. It is an Atlantic city with a moderate climate that forms part of the autonomous community of Galicia.
