Coaching
The Course will involve a comprehensive training programme in which all aspects of play, including techniques, skills, phases of play and small sided games will be covered. All participants will be expected to take an active role in these elements, so it is advised that participants have a good level of fitness before they attend. The coaches are all highly qualified Valencia Academy Coaches and are therefore specialists in sport formation. The players will witness a European philosophy which includes different styles, techniques, skills and evaluation on their game play and the way in which they play football. Having coached some bright prospects through the Valencia Academies these coaches are held in high regard throughout Spain and Europe. Players such as Silva, Albiol, Vicente, Angulo, Albeda and Mendieta are just a few names to have come off the Valencia CF production line and gone on to prove their ability on the European and World stage.
Valencia CF
Valencia CF was established in 1919 and since then has grown to become one of Europe’s elite football clubs. The club have been through many transitions in its developing history, none more so than under the “Benitez era” between 2001-2004. It was during this time that the current Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez brought huge success to the club in an era when Real Madrid and Barcelona looked to continue their dominance in the Spanish League. Rafa guided the club to 2 La Liga titles, 1 UEFA Cup Winners Trophy and 1 Super Cup Winners Trophy. This set the foundations at the club and Valencia CF have continued their progress and established themselves among the leading Spanish teams. Valencia club de futbol are continuing to grow and develop both on and off the field and are currently in the process of building a new 5 star rated, 75,000 capacity stadium in the City which nears completion.
