An inspiresport representative must be:
Friendly, energetic, organised, possess good time management skills, confident, easy to approach and have some interest in sport.
We have groups travelling all year round, however the school holidays are our busiest time and this is where we are mainly looking for representatives.
Being an inspiresport representative offers many incentives. The role includes: Organisation and control of the groups itinerary, keeping in close contact with coaching staff at the clubs, hotel staff, buses (transport), group leaders and the children. Also the rep must be aware of any problems that could occur (i.e. football injury) and make sure the trip runs as smoothly as possible. Finally a rep must enjoy themselves as this rubs off on others and will soon become part of the groups experience.
The job offers many qulaity incentives, just a few being: travelling with groups to professional football clubs all over Europe, working with the professional staff at each club, meeting loads of new faces from schools all over the UK and best of all gaining job satisfaction of seeing children have the experience of their life. Many groups see the representative as the key to their tour, the group leaders see you as another adult of which pressure is taken off their shoulders and the children see you as a friendly figure and role model who enjoys the experience with them.
