Northampton Saints is one of our favorite rugby development experiences with all facilities based on the one site at Franklin’s Gardens, where the first team and academy train. Schools and clubs have the chance to experience coaching with official Saints coaching staff at Franklin’s Gardens.
Go Behind the Scenes
As well as coaching sessions, there will be the chance to enjoy a stadium tour, possible meet and greet sessions with Saints players and photograph, and tickets to see a live fixture at Franklin’s Gardens. With a number of welcoming local rugby clubs and schools in the area, there is always an opportunity to play friendly fixtures on tour, either at the hosts’ pitches, or on the pitches outside Franklin’s Gardens.
``Thankyou to inspiresport for making Pembroke Under 10s first tour such a memorable experience!``

``A thoroughly enjoyable experience for both students and staff. It was great for the students to see what they can aspire to and how professional clubs are run behind the scenes. We will definately be back!``

Club Background
Northampton Saints are one of the best supported clubs in English rugby, with a great history. The club’s greatest achievement was winning the Premiership in 2014, as well as the European Challenge Cup in the same season. They also topped the Premiership table in 2015, but lost to Saracens in a nail biting semi-final. Their main rivals are Leicester Tigers.
Saints have played their home games at Franklin’s Gardens since 1880. The stadium is located in the heart of Northampton and has a capacity of 13,591. Development of the North Stand, to be named the Barwell Stand, will be completed in time for the start of the 2015/16 season and will take the capacity at Franklin’s Gardens up to 15,500.
Club Training Facilities
Franklin’s Gardens is also home to the state of the art training ground of Northampton Saints, with all teams, from the first team down to the academy training on site. The impressive facility includes three full sized grass pitches, changing rooms, a heavy weights fitness gym, lecture theatre, Saints study centre, performance analysis room, and a physiotherapy suite. The grass pitches are so good that the local football club, Northampton Town, also train on the site.
Location
The club is based close to the centre of Northampton, only a short drive from the M1 so well positioned for schools and clubs across the UK.
